Only a few more sleeps until the flag drops on this year’s Welsh Dragon Tyres Road Rally and the seventy five crews entered are raring to go on this, possibly – the best road rally on map 159. Can we remind competitors to read and fully comprehend the final instructions along with the event’s supplementary regulations. In particular we draw your attention to the sections requiring you to provide a marshal and ensure they have the following: Reflective hi-vis vest/jacket, A torch, Clipboard & Pens, A Map etc. Remember no marshal = no start.

Spectators, can we ask that you park sensibly around the start venue and advise you that the police will be present and have been known to issue tickets to drivers who park in dangerous, discourteous or daft places. This happens to members on club nights so you can be sure the same will happen on rally night. You will find additional parking spaces next to the village hall, a short walk (even I manage it) from the start venue. Any anti social driving will be reported to the police and we will support any prosecution that results.
