NEWS UPDATE

Chairman’s Report
Congratulations go out to all members of the club that were out competing over the past month hear to name a few,
Well dun to Huw Jones And Daren Williams for their 26 O/A and 5 in class on the Peter Lloyd stages also out were Bob Fowden who took over all victory and Bry Balls Davies and Alun Lighthouse Lewis took second over all and first in class and Steve Davies that came home 17th O/A and 8th in class, and Arfon Griffiths retired after only one stage.

News Update

Chairman’s Report.
The chairman congratulated all competitors who competed this month and hear are sum of what was dun this month
Neath Valley Stages 13 August
Terry Brown with a good start to the day came to the end with a 2nd over all and second in class in the historic Neath Valley Stages.
Ernie Beamish finished 29th over all  and 2nd in class with a consistent drive all day with Arwel Jenkins cuing home at 37th over all and 8th in class with what was a very wet and tricky conditions all day.

Chair Man’s Report.

The chair man congratulated Bob Fowden on his 5th over all finish on the Harry Flatters Rally and 2nd in class, Also congratulations went out to Paul Fowden on his win on the Brawdy stages rally        on the 24th of July Well dun the Fowden’s.

Also there was sum  bad luck for Brian Davies and Alun Lighthouse Lewis on the harry flatters rally having a total of 4 punctures in total but they were on good form prior to the bad luck hope all is well …

Club rally jackets

Winter’s here and so are our new club rally jackets just in time to keep you warm, dry and looking the part. Each jacket carries a Welsh flag on one sleeve, the Gwendraeth Valley Motor Club’s “4G” logo on the other and a new ‘Leaping Escort’ insignia on the breast. Optionally you can have the club’s web address at the bottom of the back – leaving nobody in any doubt which club you’re from.

We’re back – the shiny new website

It’s taken a little time but at last, we’re back online with a shiny new website that we are sure you will find useful, informative and entertaining.

The site is split two ways, stuff you want to know and stuff that’s happening. The stuff you want to know won’t change much over time and you’ll find it in the same place, the dark grey menu along the top. Because lots of stuff happens we thought it would be good to share that here, so when new stuff happens you’ll find it …
