Neath Valley Stages 13 August
Terry Brown with a good start to the day came to the end with a 2nd over all and second in class in the historic Neath Valley Stages.
Ernie Beamish finished 29th over all and 2nd in class with a consistent drive all day with Arwel Jenkins cuing home at 37th over all and 8th in class with what was a very wet and tricky conditions all day.
Piston Broke Road Rally 27/28 August
It was a challenging night for all of GVMC members at the road event that started from the Cross Hands Hotel with Mad Marc Davies unfortunately going otl in the second half after getting stuck on a white after backing up to read a code board ho awkward was that, next time you will leave it where it is and pass it, Huw Electrical Jones and Rhys Smiley Lewis retiring with gearbox problems also with problems was Deian Davies who had a clutch problem witch caused him to retire on a lighter note Arfon Alarms Griffiths went on to finish 3rd over all and second in class but not with out a hitch with a bout of sickness during the night after a very hot start but then all was well for what was a surprising result with thanks to his driver Dan Richards.
Mewla 28 August
Well the mornig after saw yet another event with a good turnout for gwendeaeth valley motor club with Bob Fowden finishing 7th over all and first in class closley followed by Brynfedwen Garage run EVO of Brian Balls Davies and Alun Lighthouse Lewis coming home at 9th over all and second in class with vary little drama for both teams ,
Howell Davies and Alan Jones finished 23rd over all and first in class with yet again a good performance and vary little drama which is not what could be said for Arwel Jekins on the day a vary dramatic day which finished prematurely with shaft failure on stage three and that wraps up all we know for this month if we missed you out well dun to you and your team.
